A few weeks ago I posted a YouTube! video featuring the Sonny Rollins/Don Cherry quartet live on Rome in 1963. The footage, taken from a television broadcast, is extremely rare and captures Sonny Rollins and Don Cherry at the height of their creativity together. Unfortunately, the majority of their recordings together have lapsed out of print… with one significant exception:
